Abstract

Summary. The article examines the theoretical and technological aspects of the linguistic and cultural approach to teaching pedagogical students studying Chinese.

The purpose of this article is to describe a strategy for studying the topic of Chinese gastronomic culture in practical classes, the features of its influence on the Chinese language from the perspective of linguistic and regional studies. The authors explain the difficulties of learning the Chinese language, list the main problems that students have in the lexico-grammatical, phonemic and cultural terms of mastering the Chinese language. Particular attention is paid to the linguistic and cultural aspect of language acquisition. Modern linguistics considers language not just as a means of communication, but also as a “cultural code of a nation.” By studying a foreign language, the student also studies the culture of the people speaking this language, mastering not only the word, but also a typified image in the national consciousness of the people - the bearer of the language and culture.

During the research process general scientific methods of cognition (analysis, synthesis, generalization) were used. A selection, analysis and synthesis of theoretical and practical publications on the technological aspects of the linguistic and regional approach to teaching a foreign language was carried out.

The article presents the organization of students' mastery of cultural content within the framework of studying the topic of Chinese gastronomic culture in language practice classes. The authors emphasize that for the linguistic and professional training of a future bachelor it is very important to build the process of teaching Chinese correctly from a linguistic and methodological position. In the linguistic aspect, students’ awareness and mastery of realities, skills in operating these units and non-verbal means of communication in the process of foreign language interaction when organizing a dialogue of cultures is significant. In methodological terms, a carefully constructed teaching strategy is required, embedded in the aspect of a linguistic and cultural approach for a better understanding of the mentality, way of life of the Chinese people, their culture and history.

In conclusion it is noted that the thematic content has been determined, the existing teaching experience on this issue has been systematized, and the main types of tasks in teaching the Chinese language to students in the linguistic and cultural aspect have been identified.
