The System of Naming Characters in the Story of A. P. Gaidar “The Fate of the Drummer”

   The article deals with the issue of the naming system of characters in the story of A. P.Gaidar "The Fate of the drummer". The paper pays attention to the language of the writer's fiction as a source for detailed linguistic analysis.

   The novelty of the research is seen in the fact that the article for the first time gives a systematic analysis of the names of the characters in the story and compares it with the ideological basis of the work.

   The relevance of the research is connected with the need for a detailed study of the language of A. P. Gaidar's fiction, and the analysis of the system of naming characters is one of its aspects.

   The article discusses the concept of synonymy of proper names, talks about its conditionality. For the analysis, the concept of anthropodubility was taken, which allows us to include common names in the naming system of the characters of the story. The article proves that the naming principles are indicative. It is proved that the work is based on the contrast of "friend and foe", it is with this division that the principle of giving heroes names is connected. In the article, the authors give special naming formulas that demonstrate typical naming patterns of the character of the story. The authors point to the dynamics of the nomination, which depends on the perception of a person. Many names in the process of plot development are replaced by expressive and relaxed ones. The authors dwell on the features of children's speech, which also play a special role in the nomination of heroes and show the uniqueness of children's perception of the people around them. The article also discusses nameless heroes and explains the absence of their nominations. It is proved that such heroes are the embodiment of a certain ideology, to which the writer pays special attention.
